Family-owned jewellers Beaverbrooks have been creating memorable moments for their customers for over 100 years. Today, they’re encouraging customers to stay on track, and reach new heights with their health and fitness with this exhilarating product release video for the Garmin fēnix 6® – the ultimate multi-sport GPS smartwatch.
I was delighted when Beaverbrooks asked me to craft a new product release video for the Garmin fēnix® 6. It had to highlight the technical features and encourage users to invest in this highly-functional smartwatch – Something which I’m really enthusiastic about.
The idea for the video was developed alongside Words by Cali – Producing storyboards and creative concepts helped Beaverbrooks to visualise the concept too.
With a pressing deadline, limited daylight, near-freezing temperatures, and the possibility of storms; this was the perfect filming challenge for Chris Ainsley – a former Royal Marine Commando, founder of Optimal Adventures, and an instructor at BMF with Bear Grylls.
After 6 intense weeks of editing and motion graphics work over the Christmas period, the project was delivered on time – Exceeding the expectations of everyone at Beaverbrooks, and making a good impression with Garmin too.
